Mariah and Trinity brought their dad to see the trains one afternoon. Mariah wanted the people to swim in the stream. "Why can't they swim?" "Because they're just plastic people." Trinity found something much more interesting and they spent an hour or more putting track sections together and rolling plastic wheelsets down. The driveway has a slope, so the wheels would roll all the way down.

You might remember Trinity. She loves trains. Before she started school, she was her daddy's sidekick wherever he went. He'd often bring her to play with trains for a while. She's been to the store before.

The building manager stopped by with his son. He wasn't as excited about the trains as his dad was.

Oops. Happens to the best of us.

Occasionally, the front truck of the Mallet tries to go the wrong way on this #6 switch. Not sure why. Everything is nice and level. I found the cause of that. If the bridge is shifted a little to the left, the pilot truck derails and leads the loco astray when it reaches the crossover.
